High School Musical (The Musical)

It's almost time for South's annual musical! This year the Blackshirt Players will be putting on High School Musical. There is a cast of about 55 students, with Zamiya Klosky as Gabriella Montez, Keleous Lange as Troy Bolton, Ivy Broder as Sharpay Evans, Alex Carrillo as Ryan Evans, Micah Liss as Chad Danforth, and Talani Silpao as Taylor McKessie. The Blackshirt Players are particularly proud to show off their dance numbers, but every moment is sure to be good.

How to See the Show

You can see High School Musical from March 3-5 at 7:00 p.m. or on March 6 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for South students. You can buy tickets ahead of time at blackshirtplayers.ludus.com or in the lobby before the musical. The Blackshirt Players are also giving several tickets away for free for people who usher, through trivia on their Instagram (@blackshirtplayers) and Snapchat (@blackshirtplyrs) accounts, and their button-finding contest.

Spring Show

If seeing the musical has convinced you that drama is the thing for you, be sure to try out for the spring comedy!. This year's spring show will be Alibis, a murder mystery about uncovering a series of suspects' embarrassing alibis! If you want to participate, auditions will be on March 10 and 11.
