Support Our Teams
Why you should come support South's spring sports teams

With spring break behind us, most of the spring sports here at Waukesha South are in full swing. There is track and field, lacrosse, baseball, softball, boys tennis, boys golf, and of course, girls soccer. With so many sports this season, and so many games, why not try and come show support?
Most students have been to South’s football games or basketball games. It’s clear that fans are excited to go and they are happy to follow the theme of the game. Yet, with a lot of our spring sports, that energy dies. It’s the end of the year, there’s the ACT, AP tests, and even more, things that definitely make it hard to make time for sports games. However, even just showing up to one game and bringing some friends can make a difference.
Many sports practiced hard over spring break and are preparing for games this week. Here are some of the upcoming home games from each spring sport.
- Girls Soccer: Tuesday, April 8, vs Arrowhead at 6:30 p.m.
- Baseball: Saturday, April 12, vs Waterloo at 10:00 a.m. (Note: Baseball plays at Frame Park)
- Softball: Monday, March 31, vs New Berlin West at 4:30 p.m.
- Boys Tennis: Saturday, April 12, vs 3 other teams at 8:00 a.m. (Note: Tennis plays at Woyahn Complex)
